A nice original Signed Limited Editions Club set of this classic work. Thes two books are solid and complete and in excellent condition, without damage and with almost no wear and signed by the artist. From the Colophon: "This edition of the 'The Three Musketeers' consists of fiteen hundred copies printed for the members of The Limited Editions Club. It is illustrated by Pierre Falke in Paris, and designed by A. A. M. Stols and printed by him at the Halcyon Press in Maastricht This is copy number 225 signed by [Pierre Falke]"
Two Large Quarto - sized hardcover books with hardcover slipcase; xxvii + 370 + 364 pages of text wtih Numerous lavish full-page color illustrations. Very Good condition: no torn or missing pages; no writing or markings in the text; no foxing or browning to paper; Signed by the Artist on colophon page "Pierre Falke"; untrimmed & uncut page edges; dyed top page edges. Original hardcover binding, with slight wear, light brown staining to boards, and sun fading to spine. Very Good condition hardcover slipcase with sun fading, and numbered 225 on spine.
